Olivia is 6 months!

It's hard to believe that half a year has already passed since Olivia was born. I've been waiting until she could sit up so I could take her 6 month picture, because she's super cute in a dress! I sure hope she likes to dress up and wear hairbows in the future, because this was really fun.

She's sitting up now!

Overnight Olivia became just a super fun baby! We recently took her to a neighboring country to get her 6 mo shots and checkup and she weighs 16.5 lbs and looks very healthy. The doc told me to practice more with her sitting up since her upper body seemed weak. Well just a few days and she got it! Now she is having a blast sitting up all the time and playing with toys. And I think it's more fun for Luke too. Plus she started really enjoying her solid foods and also rolling back and forth all the time. I remember how much I really like this age! Just hope she doesn't get mobile too soon - I'm not sure how I will be able to handle 2 then!

A break....although with teething I'm not sure how much of a break it really was!

Sorry we've been gone for a while, but I've tried at least 6 or 7 times to upload Christmas pictures to our blog, and it just wouldn't work! With our stinky internet connection it's so frustrating uploading pictures. So I just took a break from it, although I'll try to put a few Chritmas pictures up tonight if it will work. We took a few days to rest in the capital city, although Olivia was cutting her first 2 teeth, so there was LOTS of crying involved. The sweet little "perfect" baby (as everyone calls her) decided not to show up . But I think she' back now though! And when we returned to our city, Luke came down with 3 days of super high fevers , up to 104. I was alone and Forrest was still in the capital city at a conference. So I was scared to death, but thankfully Luke is now coming out of it and feeling better, plus Daddy is back home which makes things much better. Here are a few shots from our week.
